Your Second Visit to Our Vancouver Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

After the doctor has studied your health history, analyzed your films, and correlated your examination findings, he’ll know what is going on with your spine and nervous system.

The Report of Findings is designed to briefly explain as clearly as possible what’s wrong and whether or not we can help you. We recommend that you bring a family member or trusted friend with you to ask pertinent questions and help make this important decision.

“Health, like disease, is a process and not an event.” Dr. Hau adds, “We simply provide people with options to move away from sickness and towards health and wellness.”

Everything Will Be All Right

Once you’ve accepted care, you will receive your first spinal correction. The adjustment is painless with no popping or twisting of the spine. You will be lying on your side and will feel a slight pressure behind your ear. It’s literally about the amount of force you could tolerate if you pressed on your eye. The doctor will verify the correction with an examination and post x-rays (initial adjustment only).

Adjustment Technique. Each adjustment experience and healing response is unique to the individual. People describe feeling various sensations such as:  lighter, looser, clearer, more balanced, etc… One thing is common; the light touch of the adjustment will set your body in the direction for achieving optimum health.

Save Precious Time and Money

You will complete your visit by resting for at least fifteen minutes to let the adjustment stabilize in its new, corrected position. Research has shown that following each adjustment with this simple step helps you achieve better results in less time. The second visit also lasts about an hour.
